About Me

5 Things About Me

I Love to Travel

I am passionate about travel, seeing different places, experiencing different cultures and trying new things.  Going off the beaten track is a particular love of mine.  I have written hundreds of free reviews on various travel websites just for fun and to help other travellers.  I also really appreciate reading reviews by likeminded travellers when  I’m  putting  my own itineraries together.  These will always include something or someplace 'strange' that raise and eyebrow by my travel companion, family and friends, but they're all getting used to me now and sometimes even follow the same itinerary for their own travel experience.

I Love to Help and Inspire

I am a giver and helper.  Coaching is providing the perfect avenue for this passion.  Nothing gives me more joy than to help and inspire others.

I Love to be Inspired

Reading inspirational stories, books, quotes and watching inspirational movies, documentaries and internet clips really ‘fill me up’ with joy.  Maya Angelou, Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Joel Osteen, Tony Robbins, Ekhart Tolle, Oprah Winfrey, and Jim Carey are just some of the people who have inspired me through their ability to overcome personal difficulties and challenges and go on to make a positive difference in the world and lives of millions of people.

I Enjoy the Natural Rhythm of Nature

I find spending time in nature uplifting.  It brings me into the present moment and fills me with a sense of ease, calm and contentment.  Nature allows me to feel my connection with myself, the earth, and others.  It is a wonderful teacher. 'Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished' - Lao Tzu.

I am a Recovering Perfectionist

I used to aim for perfection in everything I did no matter what.  Through my life experiences and my travels, particularly in Thailand where I had the opportunity to spend some time with Buddhist monks, I realised that perfection does not exist and striving for perfection is not good for our health.  I now aim for ‘my best’ and to have kindness, honesty and integrity as my intention in everything I do.
