My Formal Coaching Journey

At undergraduate level I obtained an Honours Degree in Business.  This was followed with a postgraduate Masters of Business Degree (MBS) from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

 

My formal Coaching journey began by completing the Professional Diploma in Business and Personal Coaching in the Irish Life-coach Institute (ILI).  This course was the perfect foundation on which to build my knowledge and experience in coaching.  The facilitators were incredibly skilled and student focused, which made all the difference, so I couldn’t have chosen a better course or way to begin my coaching journey.

After much research, and through working with clients from a variety of backgrounds, I then decided that the area I would specialize in would be Strategy Based Coaching.  I found, and enrolled in a very exciting and innovative course, based in the United States, the only one of it's kind globally.  This type of coaching is not widely practiced in Ireland, so I am now delighted to be in a position to offer my clients the opportunity to engage in this highly effective method of coaching.

Strategy Based Coaching allows you, as the client to move away from incessant thinking.  Instead it gives you, the choice of using one or more strategies to connect with your deeper wisdom (see Strategy Based Coaching) to create awareness, overcome blocks or issues and discover the most effective way to move forward.
